Not sure if Drunken Monkey is using one or not.

But he's a MotoGadget junkie so should know quite a bit.

good price until you have to pay to get the immobilizer deactivated.

I downloaded the instruction manual, and I don't understand one of the electrical connections.

I'd get one for my new (to me) Bandit, not the Monster.

I shied away from it. It's a 'swipe to turn on / swipe to turn off' design, and frankly I like keys :)

I'm sure it's a snap to use one with a motogadget, but you'll have to wire in a couple of relays to replace your ignition with one on a stock bike.

Actually, since your key won't actually unlock your ignition anymore, I bet you can just tape your key to your instrument panel and have the immobilizer work fine  ;D
I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

interesting idea, but I prefer a key. Especially to engage the steering lock.

So leave the key lock in place and locate this in a hidden spot on the bike.

Or attach the keyless fob to the keyring you keep the key on. In which case what's the point?  [laugh]

I can see keyless working with the Ducati system or like with a car. It works while it's in proximity (4 feet or so) and there's an "on/off" button.

But a "swipe to turn on/off" keyless system? I don't see the point...

KESI systems on cars and bikes isn't a bad thing, but the swipe thing makes me think you should be saying "Daniel-San...Wax on-Wax off" everytime you turn the bike on or off....LOL
