today was a great warm day!  these are the days we moved back for. 

I've got to take the "Blue Streak" in tomorrow for a new rear tire (cords again  ) so I just checked the weather.

The forecast tomorrow...   105!! 

I can feel my brain starting to poach just thinking about it.

i like to consider my bike my daily driver and the truck as back up. i ride as much as possible. When i was in ohio i rode till there was snow on the ground. Now that im back in texas i can ride pretty much year round.

It's not too bad if you can get your riding in before about 2 in the afternoon.  After that, not so much 

I have been pretty good about riding to and from work most days.................until now.

I am throwing in the towel for a while.

No lie.  Mine's at AMS getting its 7500 mile service, and I'm kinda glad to take the car for a few days... 

Been putting off taking the mutley to FW for warranty ECU updates safety recalls. It doesn't need the ECU fix if I'm not riding it, and it isn't unsafe sitting in the garage on the centerstand....

Currently in the middle of a 4 week cage hiatus so I'm riding for the next two weeks whether I like it or not. Evidently I picked a bad time to get my trucks hail damage repaired. 

I'm still riding up and down the tollway every day for work. 

I am only riding the 696 though, I can not enjoy the 848 in this heat.
