I was there 15 minutes before open and it was already mobbed.  If you are going, you should go in pairs so one can try gear on while the other hold your current riding gear.

It is definitely Mad Max at Thunderdome....I'm not going back because it was so crazy in the Spring.

i'd suggest going in a car if you have one available, bringing stuff back you bought on a bike is a bit of a pregnant dog.  esp if you luck out and find a one piece/jacket/pants in your size.

Walked out the store with a radar jacket, an air for me and the wife, a pair of gloves and a thermal shirt for $250 out the door.

picked up the Defender GTX goretex, Ladies  Siren, and 2 gloves OTD for $320. 2 jackets 2 gloves.

offhand, i'm pretty sure during the spring sale they will have the SLR gloves for sale.

i just warrantied mine (a cuff burst and the left palm slider cut through the leather... i think there was a sharp edge on the plastic inside of it) and they didnt have anymore in stock as they're discontinuing the model.  and whatever they stop producing normally shows up in bulk during the sample sale.

the cool part is that since they took a really long time for the warranty process and didnt have any of my size/color in stock, they said that if i paid them $40 i could have the jerez gloves as a replacement.   and they still let me keep my old SLR's too
