Bike backed over = new paint job!

So... my '02 750 i.e. got backed over in the parking lot at work a couple of months ago, and I ended up with around $5,000 worth of damage to it.  :( Gratefully the person responsible left a note, and the check from her insurance company gave me enough to repair it as well as get a new paint job.

I'm still working on some of the repairs, but I got the tank back on. What do y'all think?

(Props to DucPainter for a great job on the repair and painting!)

Ooo purty. [thumbsup]

Your handle bars look like they are angled in pretty severely - do you ride like that?

I had it in the shop to get an estimate for the insurance company, although I'm doing most of the work myself. They angled the bars in that way, and it's really awkward to ride. Don't worry - I'll be changing them back.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Nice, good work for sure.  :D

Is that Sargent seat stock, or has it been shaved in back or layered up in front?

Damn, this just keeps reinforcing the fact that I need to ship my tank to Ducpainter.  Great looking work.

Dig the flat...I'd be tempted to clear coat.

Looks great!  I dig that you fixed rather than parting it out.
