though his carreer has been less than stellar since his WSBK championship on the Ten Kate Honda, he is a great rider with a decent personality and it is a sad loss to the racing grid, but for understandable reasons. Good health and luck to JT in the future!

I thought he retired at the end of the '07 season.

Too bad, JT.  I hoped to see ya return to form.  He'll be good in the commentator's box though.   [thumbsup]

Hated to hear this but I am not surprised. I like JT. Who cares if he didn't make it in MotoGP. Wanna hold that against Bayliss? I didn't think so. ;D Hope JT finds something to do with motorsports, hopefully as a commentator. [thumbsup]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Bayliss absolutely "made it" in GP, in my book.

Valencia 2006 - Troy Bayliss win!!!!

That's funny!!! [laugh] Good one!!! [thumbsup]

I meant The Troy didn't win a GP Championship like so many expected. Big deal. He didn't become a fireman, an astronaut or win an Olympic gold medal. So what? What he did was make the beast with two backsing rock the WSBK scene for 3 championships on three different generations of Ducs. Take that to the bank!! MotoGP... [roll]

I dunno, he accomplished more than say a certain a certain Australian AMA dominator. World titles count for something don't they?
