I've just finished fixing on my rearsets, so here is the bike so far:

Mostly I've stuck with Rizoma stuff:
rearsets, mirrors, sprocket cover, bar ends, LED indicators
The tail is Ducati Performance

What next??

Let me clarify.. here, you don't have to replace them, just do something with them.. even if you were to rattle can them darker with high temperature paint it would be an improvement.  [thumbsup]

I originally liked the aluminium of the cans, less so now they are stained with bits of goodness knows what that I am too lazy to scrub off.  I do like the 2010 style CF heat shields.  The main thing that put me off getting Termi's was the ugly little shield they come with.  Otherwise I have yet to see a set of cans I really like (at least like enough to justify the price).

I was actually thinking a set of Corse skins next.  Or maybe an open clutch, but worry about the fact my bike gets parked in the rain a lot.  I am also toying with the idea of a CF rear hugger.  Has anybody seen CF chain guards that would match?

if you get an open clutch cover you should look at the speedymoto pressure plate and the stainless steel springs and anodised retainers, no point exposing a stock clutch, the rain makes them look ordinary very quickly!
does the c/f hugger have a chain guard as part of it? i would shop around as some (depending on the design) do.
the genuine stuff is silly expensive, but if you have any now you may want to keep with the same brand to keep the same weave pattern.

the cf from Carbonworld is as really nice, great service / price. You can get it online or even on ebayUS.

I can see the argument for new cans.  Now I have lightened the back by removing the tail and the rearsets, the stock mufflers look too bulky.  I didn't order the Termi's, when I bought the bike, as I greatly preferred the look of the new style CF heat shield to the old style shield the Termi's come with (and am not interested in performance gains or being obnoxiously loud).  Has anybody got pictures of the Termi's mounted without the heat shields?  Is this a bad idea?

Otherwise I am thinking of Competition Werkes, Two Brothers or SC Project slip-ons.  Any feedback appreciated.

(by the way, this will likely be a Christmas or next year spend!)

This won't hurt much.... Trust me......

Can you elucidate?  Why Zards?  Bear in mind I am very superficial and my main motivation is aesthetic.

I have The Termi's with the DP CF shields, they look better than the stock shields. Unfortunately they don't have the exact  same CF cloth pattern as the Termi's but it's close enough not be noticeable. I shall post a pic ASAP.
