NEXX helmets, worth the price?

I have the Scorpion exo 750.  It's a good helmet, nice weight, good airflow, etc. but it's quite noisy at freeway speeds and I get a lot of inner pressure over 80mph.  The visibility could be better as well though it is better than some other helmets I've tried in the same price range.  I've been checking out reviews of the XR1R carbon and people say that it is incredibly quiet at speed and has excellent visibility.  Does anyone here have experience with one?  Is it worth shelling out $600 for it?

I have the X1R1 and I am very satisfied. this is the only helmet I have used, so I can't compare it to others.
Visibility is great. Road noise is always a perspective..

thanks for the reply!  how much wind noise do you get at speed?

Not sure if you've seen this review:

They rate noise levels as 'Average' No FHE though...

No FHE here either, FWIW I've found that wind noise varies a lot even with the same lid from bike to bike.  My bell star is rather quiet on a full blown sport bike with clip-ons, sorta loud on a dual sport bike and quite loud on an upright bike with a small fairing (MTS1200, Bandit 1250, FZ1 etc) - it likes to be tilted into the wind.  Anyway, all this to say its going to be really hard to figure out how loud a helmet will be on your head with your bike without  actually trying it.  Definitely wear earplugs, no lid is quiet enough to prevent hearing damage without them.

It's mostly the increased peripheral vision that interests me.  I don't really need a new helmet, but if it is that much better than I don't mind shelling out.

Every time I meet a new group of your friends that understand you and your weird sense of humor I'm a little more amazed that there are other people in the world like you that lived through childhood - My loving girlfriend

So I went ahead and ordered one.  Phenomenal helmet!  Incredibly comfortable to wear and the vision is a lot better than any other helmet I've tried.  Aerodynamics are also very good, noise is tolerable, looks bad ass as well :)  Anyway, I highly recommend it to anyone else considering it!
