Wonder if it's an add on or a replacement for a current venue?
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Interesting. Do they say anywhere when during the season they'll go there? I'd sort of assume during June or July, looking at average temperatures.

In other news, MotoGP will be going to Argentina in 2013.

Saw the post in the Silly Season thread of Elias possibly moving to WSBK on a BMW or maybe a Ducati team. Which made me think, are the Duc teams going to run the new 1199 in WSBK next year or not? I would think they are but I have read that maybe they won't. Does anyone have any hard facts on that?

I finally watched Magny Cours race 1 last night and the whole time I was thinking "what is Checa riding next year?" Is he staying with Althea? Will they race Ducs? And if so, which one? Old 1098Rs or new unproven 1199s? Curious minds want to know. [popcorn]

They'll run the 1199 Panigale in Superstock next year, and in Superbike the following year. All this comes from Troy Bayliis' Facebook post ;D

Interesting. So after winning the Rider's Championship & the Constructor's Championship they'll still be running that dinosaur one more year?
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

True. It is. [thumbsup] [Dolph] And you can't say it lacks development. ;D Did anyone at any track really put the hurt on Checa? Not that I recall.

And I haven't read or heard of any major updates on the other bikes in the series for 2012. With Yammyhammer out I don't see any private teams running the R1. Suzuki is no threat. Kawasaki is hanging in there... better than last year. So I guess if the big players are still Checa/1098R, the 'prillers and the BMWs then I suppose it's just a big do over in 2012. Same same. Wonder if Max will bother to come back? Same for Nori. He had some results just not very consistant. It will be interesting to see who goes where over the winter. I have a feeling Corser will just be heading home to stay. :P

Any idea how this will affect production and sales?

Am I correct in remembering that when the 1098 came out, they did one more year of limited-edition 999R (RS?) bikes just for homologation?

So might we see a 1198-we'll-sell-just-what-we-must-R bikes in '12?

there's no way at this point in his career that corser is going to pay to ride (bring a sponsor to a privateer, etc)
Like this is the racing, no?
