Hmmm, Ben, take a look:

http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/mcy/738238303.html

What was this one?  It's flagged for removal.  Was it this one?  http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/mcy/738392816.html  If so, I just sent him an email.  The one I am buying has the 2into1 megaphone, along with many other mods, less miles and would only cost three hundred more once shipped.  But, maybe this guy would come down?

Damn man, coming out of the woodwork.  There is also a 999s down at South Seas in Waipahu.  Not sure what they are asking for it, but might be worth a look.

yup that's the one.

Do you remember what, if anything, was different about the adds?

island_duc

I only glanced at it before a meeting.  I"m not sure if anything is different.

Hmmm...  We shall see if they email me back.  But, I still think that the other one is a better deal with all the work done to it.  Just sucks that it is so far away.  Thanks for posting it up anyways.   [beer]

Have you seen this one

I remember you posting that you liked something similar...

Yep, that's the one that R-Lo first posted on here today.  I called the guy already and am going to see it tomorrow after work.

Wow... 916 body with a 998 engine.  I'm gonna need a moment alone.

Calm yourself. My take on what he's saying is that he's selling the 916 because he bought a 998.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

Yea, but ...  you've made a deal already. Besides think about how much you'd spend in mods to make the one here  be like the other one.

Poo.  You are right.  And when you're right, you're right.  And you, you're always right.

Yea, I know.  And I told the guy over the phone that I have pretty much committed on a different bike.  But who knows, if this guy could be talked down into the low to mid 8s.  ;)

Funny thing is, he just moved here from San Diego, works for PACOM (same as me) and has a Triumph.  We talked for quite a bit and I turned him on to the local Triumph cruiser guys schedule, so hopefully he can hook up with them.

The FILA 916?  I must've missed that..  This is the first that I've seen of it.
