Thinking about new bars for my 98 M900,
Something a little more aggressive...but not clip-ons.
Maybe the Suburban Machinery M1's
Any other brands I should consider>
Thanks

I really like my Suburban Machinery bars. I added Jesse Risers (eBay) to preserve some of the stock "rise", and they are easy to modify (I moved my controls inboard 1") as long as you have a drill press and some cobalt drills. Suburban Machinery bars are a wee bit expensive, however!

Thanks for your input Howellerman
I am still a little concerned with clearance & space issues in regards to stock
Headlight fairing.  I do want retain it.

I swear by Rizoma. I haven't got their bars yet, but I plan on it. From what I hear its mostly a cosmetic upgrade, but with new risers you can make the bars higher or lower depending on preference. Hope this helps

I just put the Rizoma's on, and I have to say that there is a difference. They sit higher and are swept back more. Definately will take time to get used to, but my wrist are much happier. As for control, having the bars higher will make it turn slower. You will need to re-learn your lean.
08' S2R 1K   That was close  damn near lost a $400 hand cart.
