Will,

Unsure if you still lurk around here...I hope you and your family are settling in well on the big island.

Much aloha,

hey,
things are good, been busy at Kiser trying to make it what i want it to be.
i am in some serious need of wheels, i shouldn't have sold all the bikes.  i can't wait to ride over here, so many miles of good roads, and so few cars.

hope all is well on oahu

good to hear, will  [thumbsup]

I bet the riding on the big island would be pretty damn cool. if only there was an easy way to get from island to island with my bike. *le sad*

You do need to get wheels.  We'll be staying at the Hilton Waikoloa from 11-17 Dec...I'm very tempted to have the bike crated and shipped over!  Is it worthwhile?  If I do, you need to magically acquire a Cucciolo!

I think that you are basically stuck with Young Bros. unless you want to pop for air freight.  The crating & shipping is much more than the way they regularly ship bikes but might be safer. Just sayin.........

so looking at the DP/termi kits... is it the same ECU that comes with both setups? either 2-2 or 2-1 race

is there any way to get the ECU on it's own? like if I wanted to get an aftermarket slip-on? or would flashing be my only option?

*which I am wary of, simply because of the warranty thing.

WillS

you can get the ecu only if you want but it will be expensive.
flashing is cheaper, but if that component fails, the resulting problem won't be covered, it doesn't void everything.

I know it won't void everything, just a concern over if it becomes the source of a problem

I sure do like how that 2-1 looks, though...

:edit: I fig'd keeping the cat wasn't a big deal, but I *need* new cans at the very least  [evil] [roll]

WillS

loose the cat if can, it's the lamest

teddy037.3

I just fig'd, y'know... being kind to the environment and all that rot lol
that, and the full race means more money I don't have

for power and weight savings, I'd toss it like... like a cheap merlot

You should. To hell with the money issues. Or some such rot, as you say.
