Just purchased a NCR gas cap, came with a vent tube attached, does anyone know where to put the vent tube

On older bikes that used a tube on top the tube would be routed to the hollow steering stem.

On a monster I'd route it between the gauges and the triple.

It should just be a very small vent tube that stays under the cap assembly. You don't connect it to anything.

I have a TWM gas cap with a tiny clear tube attached to the rear of the assembly. It leads air into the tank to avoid vacuum. Maybe the same as yours....

It doesn't has to go anywhere, but when I emailed and asked the manufacturer they said position 2 based on the photo below.

Not 100% sure if that hole has the same function (overflow drain) on US bikes as on my Euro bike...

Yeah, the NCR cap is the same.

On my '99 M750 I have a problem where somehow the tube is blocked up and my tank gets pressurized, do you know how to fix this?

I have never had that problem, so I don't know.

Maybe you could check, take apart, clean, blow the vent hole in the lock assembly itself? (above hole 2)
