Love Al Di Meola, Ponty and Clark! Had jazz-rock friends turn me on to all of them in the mid 70s. Best gifts my ex-wife ever gave me were tickets to see Ponty and Jeff Beck. [thumbsup] [popcorn] Two different shows but still awesome! Huge John McLaughlin/Mahavishnu Orchestra fan too. Mmmmm... Inner Mounting Flame CD is my truck's player as I type! [clap] He was in Dallas about a year ago and I missed it! Dammit. Wasn't 2 miles from my house! Also big Zappa fan. RIP Frank. Same friend tried to get me to see his son's show recently in town but I couldn't make it. He said the tribute to Dad by junior was incredible! Another show I regret missing. Life is too short... so many great shows. [roll]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!
