I'll be coming out, just trying to decide whether to wear the textile or leather jacket...hate getting the leather jacket soaked...

I'm in a blah mood in bed...w/ the theme song "should I stay or should I go" running through my head!

We did a fairly good job of dodging the showers today and found the snake in surprisingly good condition...and for those that must know, it was textile with the  waterproof liner...

MadDuck and I got soaked over H3 heading home.

You don't understand.  The only way it could have been worse was if it was dark.  Up H3 the rain wasn't too bad. Wet yes, but liveable and it even backed off a bit as we hit the tunnel. Out of the tunnel was the worst rain I've ever ridden in. Couldn't see plus the visor was starting to fog. The spray off the cars was awful and I thought the tires would hydroplane in several spots. I was never so thankful to get off the freeway. After that we were just wet.........

sucks for you guys, i rode sweetass curvy roads for 160 miles today and didn't get suck behind any yahoos

Yup, I totally agree.   I always leave my iphone in my front pocket, screen facing my body.  All these time, it was able to survive all the wet rides.  Today, it finally called it quits after the pouring rain.  I guess it's time for an upgrade, more importantly, learn from MadDuck and Old Pilot and use a ziplock bag.   

It might dry out and come back to life.  I had a phone, not an iPhone though mind you, get wet, die and come back to life in the Verizon store while looking for a new phone. 

This  morning the jacket and gloves are still damp........ the draggin jeans are somewhere between damp & wet and they have been hanging up all night.

Ok you win...unfortunately, my shitty Sunday has spilled over into today when I found out I'll be going from San Diego next wkend, to the Philippines and back to the island the day before we are to depart for our honeymoon!  

On a positive note, I got my DVD copy of "Fastest" in the mail today...watching it w/ Teresa now to help me decompress before writing an essay paper.

How's Fastest?  I really enjoyed Faster.  The Kid, Doctor, Tornado was OK but not something I'd reach for lots.

Supposed to be sunny and in the 60s here over the long weekend.
