I have had pain in my neck that has built up for a while from previous "falls".  Anyhow I came across two things by random chance.  One is this thing called the "Thera Can" the other is "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook"  so far it has definitely helped me out and for the price you can't really go wrong.  Got the book from ebay (used).  When i'm done with it I'll probably sell it or give it to someone with pain.  Happy Thankx Giving to all

You rang?

Not that long ago, I finally tossed in the self-medicating towel for my pain.

Found a massage therapist who specializes in sports therapy. Also tried a chiro for the first time as well and an acupuncturist  â€" my dog's acupuncturist!.   [laugh]   Chiro replaced one pain in the neck with another so with it being my first experience, not as anxious to go back â€" even though I know that that remedy works for many others.

The acupuncture definitely helped and the massage w/this particular therapist was amazing.  When I left that appt., I had nearly full range of motion in my neck that I haven't had for a long time.   [thumbsup] [thumbsup] [thumbsup]
Will do both again sooner than later.

Very curious to check out your recommendations as well.  Thanks!!

Be glad you're not a turkey today who has a bigger pain in the neck than we do!   ;)

Again, there's a forum rule about mentioning turkeys this close to Thanksgiving when I'm logged on. Pay attention people! [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] Oh... and my neck hurts. ;)
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

It doesn't pay to skip pages â€" 'm not aware of this rule.  My apologies!

Now, I'm logging off so I can dream of ways to cook broken poultry necks tomorrow....    ;)

It's a rule in his own mind. ;)
