Started off with an empty room:





Took down the garage railing:





Framing begins:

Had to build a hallway, this got rid of one of the garage doors:







You can see the garage off to the right and how the hall is being enclosed in this photo:

Upstairs got painted and the beam got stained (very hard to reach):



Started figuring out the kitchen layout:





Started in on the counters:







Tiling:

Range hood went up at the same time:



And a snazzy little shelf behind the oven, along with the rest of the tiling:

Next, the missus informed me the place should not be without a closet.

All this crap was done after the kid was born. Huge thanks to me wifey who made all this possible.

Cute peepy!  The s/o and I are looking to move out your way.  If you didn't have rabid Pits running around, I'd say we'd take it! 
300sq ft might get kind of cramped though esp. now with the baby.

You could probably rent out that closet for $300 and get maybe $1200 for the rest of the place.




I should be taking pictures of all the stuff I've been doing to my house but I haven't been. The wife and I live in an old grocery store. Now it's a two bedroom Loft/flat whatever you want to call it with lots of pantry space.
