DRKWNG

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

I, uh... hm...

The tail section. What is up with that weird notch cut-out on the bottom?

And, for me, the tank and tail are too small. They don't balance the bike visually. The motor is this gigantic lump hanging below, and the rear wheel/tire looks enormous with that minuscule seat and tail.

. . . .

Also, I just noticed that this is an unfinished bike. Maybe a set of carbs and some exhaust will bulk it up and balance it.

:o

I, on the other hand, am in love with this bike. It is the very bare essence of a motorcycle.

Stopped at a Polaris/Victory shop in Everett, PA.  I was glad to see they started carrying Aprilla and Guzzi.  I thought both of these were beautiful.

This is the last bike made by Ducati before being purchased by Cagiva.

It was restyled into the Cagiva Alazzurra.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

No wonder they were in financial trouble.

Yup, the TLs were designed mainly for municipal use.  See that huge-ass bracket around the back?  hang your radio right off of that.

It has that funky retro feel.

I am getting one.. :-)

Had to look that one up! If I could still bend that way, I'd make you an offer. I LOVE featherweight Ducatis!  ;)
