How big is the roof of the building?  I was talking about making steam via a solar collector, using mirrors to focus the light on a water tank.  When the sun is overhead on a clear day, the sunlight delivers a kilowatt/meter^2.  If you can get enough mirrors you could totally make enough steam to make it run.  A quick google search tells me that "PS 14 in Corona" is in New York, so I am not positive you'd get enough sunny days to make it worth it, but it is totally possible.

I'm not going to pursue it though.

I'm going after large volume 120⁰ F storage without mirrors.
