it is certainly their choice and right to do so

but if it is solely because of the bong thing, they are stupid.  that will blow over and no one will remember it 6 months from now.

That's about 4 months longer than his media attention lasted after the Olympics.  well until his latest "achievement" that is.

Stupid?  Stupid is the dumb ass that decided a public college party is the place to do his best Cheech impression.

He gave them an out and they took it.  Not surprising in these economic times when every sports endorsement is on thin ice.
