I'm thinking spending some money on kit to mount them yourself might be the go.

As they say on Top Gear, how hard can it be?

Thanks for the generous offer  [thumbsup] ;D.

Unger I am a little the same as you.
Not fully convinced with them. They have grip there is no doubt but the vague feeling they give is what's troubling.

Fitted the new rubber today!
Dare say they'll be better than the outgoing set..

Really  REALLY  deteriorated over the last week..
Tires didn't look anywhere near this bad last weekend, and the only riding I've done since is out to D-moto and back again.  :-[

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

Holy crap that is some serious tearing!

How many Kms did you get out of them and what sort of riding?

Heather, The Diablo's had done their dash..
I bought the bike with them on and at that stage they were noticeably hard (old) and squareish.
It's actually only just occurred to me that I'd put about 6000+ on them myself.
A lot of City riding, some highway work and the occasional outing with the group.

Should make the world of difference.

Quote from: ungeheuer on October 19, 2010, 05:57:45 AMI dont think I'm thrilled with the Power Pures I have now....  although with 4,000kms on em they're still lookin nowhere close to shagged out yet
Well that was naively optimistic bollocks  [laugh].  Got about 5600 on the PPs now (so they outlasted the original BT16s) but they're looking like they're gonna struggle to get too much more than 6K.  I say "they" but the front is doing not so badly.....

Sooooo I followed the OP's link and ordered a pair of Conti Sport Attacks (hahaha... I'm so shalllow)... and a pair of Dunlop Q2s coz freight for the first pair was about $75 and adding a second pair only bumped the shipping to $80.  Bargain.... and so thats my rubber sorted for the next 12 months  :).
