Here at the WareHome, we've been using a scissor jack & a block of wood underneath the motor, whilst the bike is on the lift, for quite some time with tremendous success.

I was thinking about the hugger today. The issue is that when I tried to take off the stock, I stripped out one of the bolts. I'll have to drill it out, I think. I'm on a roll, and that one should be done soon.  [thumbsup]

Nope, but it never does....  :P

I tried cutting the radius of the first one with the Dremel after using it for the straights, but I wound up using a saber saw--much cleaner. Other than that, it really came out nicely.  [thumbsup]

CaffineJunky, Thanks for posting up the how to on the frame slider install! I just installed these on my girlfriends bike. Easy as PIE and they look great! fork sliders are next!!!
