First ride next Sunday

Crud - I'm on-call next week so a) need to be able to hear my beeper and to use the cellphone and b) should be able to get to work within half an hour. I'll shoot for a future ride.

BTW, how appropriate are these rides for old, fat, cowardlyautious guys with lifetime riding experience of a couple thousand miles over a yar and a half?

We have a system...

Everyone rides their own ride...

and we have at least one sweep rider to pick up people that fall behind.

We have never left anyone behind...it's a group effort.

That said they depend on the group size when I'm leading. Larger groups call for a slower pace to keep everyone together. We have been pulled over...but never ticketed.

I've slowed remarkably on the street since the birth of my son... I go to NHMS for my ya-yas.

In that case, I'll make a point of coming for the next ride!

Have fun next weekend.

Hmm. Sounds more piratical than I'd intended.

Pretty sure the next ride heads in your direction.

Maybe meet at the shop and ride towards home and make it an early day.

It certainly does sound that way. I've already checked to make sure I don't have anything else that day.

ozmanyyy

Would love to do this, but with activities on Saturday and Monday, I don't think I could trek up, do the ride, and back in the same day.

Will have to combine this with a Saturday overnighter, hopefully for one of the other rides...

Thanks

Ok...

About 15 riders...286 miles on my odometer at the end of the day...

plenty of traffic on the way out....why won't cruiser riders move over?

The ride in was great....not much traffic...a few roads that weren't like moto-x tracks...

and as always...great company.

So when I have to be ready or the next one?

And can we pick a non-holiday weekend, oh and while I am wishing is there any chance of us passing those cruisers next time?
I though that house was going to fall on you. [laugh]

I thought the ramps were going to come down.   ;D

Nate could have drove up one of the ramps and parked in the garage.

I think he was sizing it up to be his next spray booth. [thumbsup]
