I should be at AMS around 7:30.  If I'm not there by 7:45 you can leave without me... I'm the newbie!

Mo' goodness! See you cool cats at 7:30ish at AMS/BigD. Again, stupid question but Kevin you do know the way right? I haven't put a lot of effort into the maps... just sorta glanced at it. :P

Sorry folks, we're out for this one.

Ya'll have a great, fun, safe  [moto]!  [thumbsup]  And stay away from the  [leo].

  • 2006 Ducati SportClassic 1000
  • 1978 Yamaha GT 80

Ambition is a poor excuse for not having sense enough to be lazy.

catie too right [thumbsup]

Catie will at least ride to Starbucks. You get to convince her to do the rest of the ride.

Sorry guys, I can't make it after all   :(  have a good time.
My childhood was typical; summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard really.

Slag

Wow. Quite the mass exodus. We will still be there.

Ah man! No other non-Ducati bikes? Trying to make me stand out and look bad? I got it... you thought Scott was serious in the other thread about flushing out non Ducati riders and shooting them at dawn? Now that you mention it, it is right before sun up and I'll be on my Gixxer. :P

Sorry you can't make this one. No worries, the cooler it gets the more we do! [moto] Catch you soon. [thumbsup]

Everybody post up and let me know that you made it home! I had to bail early on account of puking child at home......Tommy wasn't too far behind me though, so I guess you guys are done too!  Great ride.  Good to see everyone and glad everyone was safe today!!!  [moto] [thumbsup]

Hey Slag, be sure to post up the photos and video from the ride!  I thought you took some photos of the Labor Day ride.....where are they??  Also, I hope Catie had a good time, I am so glad she went with us and she did really well!!

pipeliner1978

thanks to everyone who made the trip, I had a blast.  Would have been better with less traffic, but I think that probably kept me from riding beyond my limits.  Hope there are some pics.........you know, one of these days we're gonna have to bring Alan along with us.   [moto]

AeroGeek

Personally, I thought you did awesome, hope you make every ride  [thumbsup]

now tell slag to post up some pics!!

The video will have to wait. There are 3.5GB of video, and it will take a little while to cut it down. The quality wasn't that good. Everything was fine at 40 mph, but went to hell after that. I will try another location next time. Here are a few pics.

Had a great time everyone! The random guy on the busa joining our group was entertaining. I also loved the harley flotilla  that we found. I counted them on the video. 29 bikes. Seemed like there were more than that  :o

Those that didn't show missed a very fun ride. I was very impressed with how well Catie rode. This would have been a great introduction to group rides for anyone new to them.
