05 S4R Stock PCIII Map

Hey guys, just got off the phone with power commander and they don't have a stock map for the S4R.  They have one for the S4, but its different than S4R.  I'm waiting for my ducati dealer to get ther exhaust that I want from italy(might be a month or more).  Untill then I'd like to use my pciii to get some gain out of my stock setup.  Does anyone have a map for a stock S4R  05 ?  Id really really like to get one.  When i get the exhaust on i'm going to get it tuned.  its just going to be a little while.  Someone please help me out!!!

i just bought a PCIII that has a S4R map loaded onto it. its for a slip on setup with open airbox. It might work for you if you drop the airbox. or you can just play around with the values and minus like 1 point all across the board.

its a custom map for an 05 S4R.

Man I'd really appreciate it!  That has to be a better start than the zero map.

the zero map is just that... no mods at all. it's like running the stock fuelling, ony your PCIII is in place.

got a tuner near you? messing w/your mapping will have the biggest effect once everything else (intake, exhaust, etc) are finished.

yea, the zero map makes no change to the bike.  But you can get a map (usually from power commander website), that will make a stock motorcycle run alot better as well.  I'm looking for a stock map that I can run for a month or two untill my exhaust comes in.    If anyone has a map for a completely stock bike then I'd love to get it to use for a bit.  The ones i have are all for some sort of modified bike.

but...since your bike is stock, there really isn't much need for the PCIII.

or am I missing something?

Yea but dosent the zero map make no changes.  What i'm looking for is a map for a stock bike, which will help the bike right now.  Then when I get the exhaust on i'll get a custom map.  If anyone has a stock s4r map i'ld love to get it.  right now all the maps I can find are all for some sort of modified bike, or for the s4, not s4r.

I'm guessing the OP want to use the PC3 to correct any deficiencies the stock map may have.

IMO, waist of time, unless you know there is a problem.  Just ride.  [moto]

your right..i just paid for this thing, and i've got it so i want to use it to see what diff it will make.

your S4R should run pretty good with the stock map, the PCIII will only make it better.
Im in the same bandwagon as you except my bike runs pretty lean on factory maps.

Yeah! The bike runs fine.  The throttle is just alittle choppy (on/off) at lower speeds and I've been told the pc can fix that kind of stuff.  I really bought it to use when i get the exhaust on, I just figured if i could get my hands on a stock map then I could try it out now.  I thought it would come with a map for stock, or that Power Commander would have one, but they dont.  Other wise I'd have waited until i got the exhaust to buy the power commander. 

You guys know how it is when you your a little kid and you get a present on christmas morning you want to play with, but it requires batteries, and your don't have any the correct size.  All the stores are closed, you have to wait a day or two.  Its like torture!!  Its just I have this new toy sitting here and I don't want to wait a month or more to see what difference it will make.

No, because there isn't any point in installing it untill I get a map for it.  I've hooked it up to my computer and checked the map out thats on it, but its for a stock S4.  I've called power commander, FBF, and the company I bought the commander from Fuel Moto.  None of them have maps for a stock S4R.  I've looked at it, its going to be easy to install.  Just plug and play.

At least installing it will keep you busy for now.

You can also play with the buttons richening the mix to see how it will effect the A/F in the mean time.

Also, IF it's defective, you'll have time to send it back.
