Noriyuki Haga is on the verge of being confirmed by Ducati Xerox as the replacement for Troy Bayliss in 2009.

Speculation as to who will replace the soon-to-retire Bayliss has been rife in recent months, but only now has the team reached an agreement with someone.

Why you pickin' on Nori?

jeez, you both missed the tone of my voice eh?  ;)

i think nori is an incredible rider.  he deserves a championship and he deserves that bike.  i LOVE watching him ride around 4 inches from ppl, lap after lap.  the whole paddock trusts him to do that.. amazing.

Am I the only one that's less-than-impressed with Nori's signing?

He IS a good rider, he WAS a great rider.

I will make a $100 AFF donation wager right here, right now with the first person who wants to bet that he will NOT win the championship next year.

Caused the race to be red flagged at Donnington today blown engine depositing oil on a wet track, did not pull off the line, three riders down, Black fllagged after restart for failing to 'ride through',

i love watching the guy race but i don't think he will either.

i said he deserves it, not that he'll get it.  =)

He's my favorite SBK rider after Bayliss, and I'd love to see him on a Ducati, but my concern is that he's not a long-term investment.  I think Neukirchner has the best chance to win next year.

Why don't you just tell me who got the win while you're at it?   [roll]

My thoughts eggsackry.

I know who won the first race, but not the second.

It was a pretty good first race actually.  [thumbsup]
