Windscreen mounted mirrors

Does anyone make such a thing? Has anyone installed them? Do you like them? Do you have photos?

I truely hate the stock mirrors on my Monster (2006 S4R) and I'm not sure if I would like the bar-end mirrors that most people seem to get. Maybe after I got used to looking down at my handle bars to see behind me they might be ok, but I dont want to invest in them just to end up not liking them.

If anyone has info on something like this or even a way to do it yourself with mirrors not specifically designed for a Monster please let me know.

Thanks!

I don't think mounting mirrors on the windscreen will work out so well on the monster.  It's not stable enough.

If you mounted mirrors on the windscreen, you'd never be able to see what's in the reflection.  I'll move/vibrate too much.

Most bikes that have the mirrors mounted on the fairing have a metal support(s) for the fairing & mirrors that is usually mounts to the frame (not the bars).

I was a bit skeptical about the bar-ends, but if you want a cheap solution to see if you like them, you can't go wrong with a pair of $10 Third Eye's. They're sold at local bicycle shops, and would give you an idea of the looks and position of bar-ends. I recently switched them for the Rizoma's Circuit 743 mirrors, which I think give it a great look, but visibility is not the best.

on top of the instability, windscreen mounted mirrors probably won't provide much of a view behind you, it's pretty narrow up front.

Thanks for input guys... you've not let me down yet. :)

I suppose it's time to try the bar-end mirrors then. Any suggestions?

If you've got the $$$, definitely get the CRGs.

I have a set of the CRG Blindsight 2" mirrors on order.  The shouldn't be to much of an eyesore or the ends of the bar, I just don't know how well the view is on a mirror that small.  I will let you know when I get them mounted.

Excellent psycledelic... please let me know how you like them. Did you order the bar-end adaptors too or are you going to move the controls in?
