Man I am so confused on what to do next year. Race prep my 620, get a 696, or buy a used 600 and just hit the track. Man I wish I was rich wouldn't be so hard to make such a simple decision.  ;D

Well, if you were the guy I met the other day, you wouldn't have this dilemma. He owns 6 Ducs and the latest to his collection is a Desmosedic. Here's the kicker, he said he rarely rides them. Maybe around the block and that's it. Must be nice to have that kinda money.

i feel bad for that guy, to have all that stuff just to say "i have this stuff" but not really get to ride them or decide that he doens't want them.  wtf? what is the point?

if the point is to say "i have all this stuff but don't use it much" then ok, he wins.

but if the point is to actually enjoy and beat the heck out of the bikes, well he may have 6 of them but its truly a shame.

If it's not a straight line performer, how do fairings help?

It helps me...it helps me smile under my helmet as I'm passing a Monster with no fairing.  [moto]

But seriously, it makes a huge difference at speed. Racing without one is crazy.

I agree, as track bikes, they look nice with the fairings on.  [thumbsup]
