Hit the bookstore this weekend and noticed Sport Rider or another one of those publications has a 13-page set of reviews on gloves.  Dainese took home the best scores.  They're all gauntlet style, though, no shorties.

I wish it was that simple. Its a repetitive stress injury. I sit in front of the PC all day then I put a good amount of time on my Bike as well.
I hold my throttle like a Twinkie... Remember that reference from the old Ducati board  ???

If I pretend like I am holding the throttle My hand hurts. Hell it hurts by typing this message. Its not carpal tunnel though based on the symptoms.

I can fiddle with the rotation of the Bars to see if I can find a sweet spot that does not hurt as much.
On my #1 S4Rs I rotated the bars and it made all the difference in the world. You will likely have to move your brake and clutch resevoirs just a bit to level them up.

You would be surprised how much difference a 1/2"- 1 " will make in rotation.    Dolph

I picked up some Racer Multitop Gloves today.

I actually went in looking for the Racer High End but I did not like the fit of them so I went for a model similar to the Wing model but the Multitop is water proof version and so far it seems to breath okay.

I need to get use to riding with a much thicker glove now. The controls feel a bit foreign to me right now.

I had some Alpinestars gloves that never loosened up to a point that they were comfortable, so I bought Held's "Steve" glove for my everyday riding. They're very comfortable and I have zero complaints.
