When might we want to get down-n-dirty?

Mac Hoist offer is still open. As a matter of fact I have to tighten the steering neck bearings on the Monster. I've been meaning to do that for a year or so I guess. 

I will likely do that on a Saturday the week after next. Sept. 27th.

So I've been doing my tail, mounting the new parts, etc.  All is kinda getting toward ready, but now a seemingly insurmountable problem: the turn signal bolts are too long and are hitting the frame.  I'd cut them, but the wires run thru em, and there is no way I'll cut the metal and not the wires.  I thought i'd drill thru the frame, but my drill is underpowered and my dremel doesn't have the diameter.  Poo!

Take the lights out/off and pull the wires through the post. Cut post to length and clean threads. Reinstall light & wires.

Monkeying around is definitely better than going ape. Though both are decidedly simian.

Well, no go on the blinkies.  I couldn't so much as wrestle the bulb out, much less the rubber grommet bit or anything else.  Double boo.
