When the Guy was in grade school he took a spelling test and got three words wrong. Defeat, defense , and detail. The teacher told him to write each word 5 times and then use the words in a sentence.

So he wrote; "Da Cat jumped over defense, defeat before detail".

I know BMW owners think they're all that (both the cars AND the owners), but "CAR IS GOD" seems a little like heresy. Though I guess it is kind of a nice golden color, except for the rust spots, so might do as a graven image or golden idol in a pinch.

I sincerely hope it was a joke.  That kind of illiterate display proffered for the world to see would be somewhat disturbing outside of obvious comedic value.

no I don't think it is meant to be funny someone mentioned it in his feedback and his other adds had the same lack of grammar.
He is probably dyslexic and doesn't have anybody to help him out with his ads.
He could type it in word (or similar) and spell check it, but I don't think word would know what he was trying to type and if he is that illiterate he probably would know what word to choose.

On the other hand it could be Ebonics.
