this is the same photos from the ducati dominos thread.

better perspective in that you can see the slope the bikes where parked wrong on.

DY

it looks like the bikes with the "sails" caused a chain reaction.  The last bike fell Into it's sidestand!

Raux

doesn't that mean either 1) broken/bent stand or 2) cracked crankcase ?

That Nice Guy Beck!

my bad this was posted already sorry [bacon]

Interesting.

I took that last pic.

The only place I posted it was on this forum.

So somebody evidently saw it here, downloaded it, uploaded it to their photobucket account, then posted it elsewhere.

At which point Beck saw it there and then posted it here again.

It all comes full circle.

So, my question is, "Who covers the damage?" Does one claim it against their insurance as a Force Majeure incident or does the facility's insurance pick up the tab?

that's pretty funny...

seriously.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes I have a hard time suppressing a rosy outlook on the world.  :)

So, the moral of the story is not to put a cover on your bike when it's windy & rainy especially if you are parking in a crowd? That's what I get when all is said and done. All of the other bikes are unscathed except those that were downwind of the covered bikes. An afternoon rain has never, ever hurt any bike.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.
