Ducati makes a set of rearsets for the PS and my Sport Classic. I bought a set and screwed them up by having them black powder coated (they were standard silver/aluminum in color). Thought they would look better black to match the BinB black frame. Good in theory but the thick powder coating has made the knurled footpegs completely slick. The thick powder coat covered up the grippy serations on the pegs. Oops, the technical term for that is "I f#@ked up". Now I have to have the powder coat bead blasted off and find someone to re-anodize them. It's the footpeg version of my 916SPS... a bottomless hole you shovel money into.

Anyway, before I had them messed up they looked really nice. Check them out and see if someone can cut you a good on-line price. I can't remember my AMS cost but it's probably good I can't remember. It would make the pain worse. :P

By the way, the powder coat folks down from Scott's place actually did a very good job, all the parts for a flat $50!!! It's not their fault I should have had them anodized black instead of powder coating them. They are good folks!! [thumbsup]

edit: I just remembered. The DP rearests use the stock shifter and rear brake pedal so they wouldn't help you anyway with a broken shift lever. Never mind. :P

Lots of info... try to boil down to something easy to swallow in one reading...

Brands that make rearsets specifically for the PS:
Aella-Casunos (about $925)
Acculigns (about $425)
Swatt (about $425)
Woodcraft (about $350)
NCR (about $1350)
Sato Racing (about $440)

Also...  900SS rear sets 99-02 will work on the mono posto Sport Classics (thus, the PS).  However these usually require a spacer, but some manufacturers include the spacer.

Hope that helps!   [thumbsup]
