First off I did do a search on this topic and all I could find was one misc. post that said "Apparently you can't, a dealer has to do it".

Is this true? I did the 600 mile maint. myself and I want to turn off the little wrench icon. Not that it's hurting anything, I just want it off. So the question is can a normal person do this or do I really have to take it in to a Duc dealer. Does anybody have definitive word on this?

???

you know it would take a mechanic with knowledge of how the system resets it? anyone want to give up a little change for your fellow riders?

I have no idea if its the same as the older models, but on the older ones, you just had to hold down the left hand button for a while and the MAINT indicator would go away.
