Brian,

Even though I can't make this ride, I wanted to suggest updating the first post with relevant details for the folks who have never been.  Such as, what time to meet, where to meet, and approximate ride-time (this is pretty much an all-day event), etc.

Just a suggestion, seening there are a few "newbies" who've expressed interest in joining this great ride!   [moto]

Ambition is a poor excuse for not having sense enough to be lazy.

I'm thinking of coming along too and this info would be useful.

My fiancee is also interested, we have not seen any of Texas since coming here, would this be a good ride for her on the back?

This is a great ride for all, everyone will ride their own pace.  More than likely there will be a faster group and a slower group.  The fast group always waits at main intersections for the slower group to get there.  There will most likely be someone riding sweep, to make sure there is noone lost, or in need of help.  It really works out well.  You will enjoy it.  I don't know the exact address of the meet up location, but it will be the Starbucks beside the Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall.  We will all meet there at 9:00 am.  Keep checking the thread for more detailed info tomorrow.  [thumbsup]

The weather looks good, & on Sunday's no traffic, but there might be a LEO or 2, so make sure Tommi goes first [thumbsup]

I think that's pretty much it, except I dont rember the loop around New Fairview.  We took the same roads back too (I think) It was my first ride with the group then

on second thought, I think we might have taken 407 through Justin.......In any case, it will be worth going!

;D Just in case y'all are not aware of it the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Ride for Kids is meeting at Grapevine Mills Mall on Sunday Morning with a huge group of riders leaving at 10:00 AM.  Just don't want y'all to get tangled up in their thing & in case you are wondering what all the cycles are doing in the area.  GeorgeinDallas was promoting this around the time of the Long Way Down screening & it just fell off my radar until a Harley Buddy asked if our group was supporting the kids ... I lied & said I thought so !!  :-[ !

Anyway, the link to the site for the Ride For Kids is:

Check it out - maybe GeorgeinDallas is representing for DFWM ??  [clap]

Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.
