So here is another heavily modified Multistrada. What does everyone think?

Personally, I think it is friggin' great!  [thumbsup] I've emailed the guy about getting some of the parts to mod mine. I use my Multi to explore dirt roads quite a bit, and making it a bit more worthy sounds great to me. It of course isn't up to Dakar or anything, just has some added dirt road and dual track ability.

Keeps the great road manners of the current Multi, plus adds basic off road features...all at a weight which is quite a bit lower than a BMW or KTM (besides the F800GS...but my Multi is paid off).  ;D

Also...amazing how just the PIAA lights and front fender make the bike look so much better than stock...IMO of course.

I like it - I always thought that dual round headlights would look good on a strada, but was not sure where on the front face to put them.

He says it's easily accessible. I guess the crash bars are hinged underneath in the front, so they can rotate down to get into the compartments if needed. Obviously not as easy as without them...but apparently not too hard either.

The Cat Eye mirrors work pretty well. Quite a few have them on their Monsters...I used to have them on my M900. They're not CRGs, but they don't cost $100 each either.  [cheeky]

A good option for a dual sport...no sweat when you dump it and need a new one.  [thumbsup]

Cat Eye mountain bike mirrors?

I ran those for a spell while I was waiting for my rizomas... they were surprisingly vibe-free and stayed in place at, er, freeway.... speeds  ;D

that multi looks pretty tasty, to boot. I approve. [thumbsup]
