Hey all you water-cooler types...

I'm in need of an S4Rs or S4Rt radiator and I can't seem to find one...  What's the difference(s) between the 4V radiators?  Can I take a 996 radiator and have it modded to work on this bike?  Will an ST unit fit/work?

ST and earlier superbikes use a single fan, later model 998 is a possibility, but water inlet and radiator cap are different and there are no bosses for the side covers.

My 999 rad is completely different than my S4RT rad, FYI.  I don't have pics handy of either, but the 999 has both outlets at the bottom left, the S4RS/T has one top/one bottom.

just food for thought.i found out from a modification point of view that a kawasaki 250 1988 onwards split radiator will come close to fitting nicely.not only does it have the same
volume but there is easier access to the front plug.also looks narrower.im waiting  for the day when my radiator gets damaged to do this.alternatively you can venture to a good radiator shop and see
what they can do.

The radiators fitted to the S4 & S4R (desmoquattro) are identical, the ones fitted to the RS & T are wider.
