I'm trying to get ahold ot the officer to find out.  He's out on a call  [roll]  I really want him to know and state in the report that she had a "male" passenger that according to her boss, was not suppose to be in there.

WOW!!!  :oJust checked in and saw this. So sorry to hear and see what happend. That bike must have some sort of bad karma. Better to get a new one. ;D
Those pics are incredible. I wonder how fast she was going to do that kind of damage? On the other hand, that was a large truck. Just the inertia of that thing would be hard to stop. I would guess the impact of the truck pushed the trailor under your SUV and then picked up the rear of your SUV, in turn making it easier to push it that far. That is amazing..... talk about bad luck.
Do you think they will be able to fix your SUV? I've always thought that a vehicle will be totalled if they find that the frame has been compromised.

Anyways, I hope you get everything properly fixed and back in running condition soon.

The trailer's not under it, its pushed into it.  And there is a frame crossmember right there on the rear.  I saw it when I was installing my new hitch last month.  Look back at the pics, you'll see where the hitch is still bolted to the frame, and the trailer is right above it.  You will notice the the steel tongue that the 2" ball sits on is bent over backwards going up and into my truck.  i have no idea if there is frame damage, but I hope so.  Lord knows they wont check the rearend and tranny, which took on major stress.

After it couldn't go into my frame anymore, then the frame of the trailer gave in and buckled.....

It crushed the frame of the trailer....

Baker Huges F-150, My Montero Limited, My 3 rail moto trailer, and Marquess' 848 all on tow trucks being hauled off.  The  [leo]bactually looked at me and asked what I wanted to do with my truck......I laughed and said it's gonnabe towed and repaired by Baker Hughes's insurance company.  It damn sure aint gonna stay here.  I already have to figure out my vehicle situation.  Bonnie takes the kids to school n Burleson at 8:00 am and then goes straight to Hurst for her school.  That was my only vehicle besides Bonnie's, but I leave for work at 6:30 am every morning......  This blows.

And I no longer have a trailer for track day and THC trip  [bang]

My truck has been down for a month because of the unlicensed driver turning AND stopping in front of me; I have rental car coverage, so I've had a car all this time.  Check out your coverage for a possible rental.

Well, I called my awesome insurance company yesterday just to let them know.  From there they tried to get me to let them take care of the claim.  It would have cost me my $1000.00 deductable and potentially increase my rates.  Even though I was in my house brushing my teeth when the incident occured.  I politely told them what I thought.  I have paid approx $50K to 1 insurance company in the last 12 years and I have made 1 $1800.00 claim in that span.  That alone raised my insurance, and they wanted to charge me an extra $6K /year for the 1098s.  I told them that if they could feel comfortable raising my rates for something that was absolutely no fault of mine then, they could go make the beast with two backs themselves.

Hmmm...maybe it's not such a good idea to put that 848 on the track on second thought.

All Baker Hughes company vehicles have a driver monitoring device installed, but I didn't say that and I am not here.

I'm still pissed - dammit! I have no f'in car now - and I am not Rich D.  I can not carry $300 of Walmart bs on my bike.....and I can't take five kids to school on the moto - although I did take Oceane to school today on the monster for a breakfast/award ceremony.....have a neighbor friend to pick up the other kids - big thanks to Krissy!  Really appreciate everyone's offer to help, btw, like Tommy said.  That was very nice.  We are still trying to work out a rental.  As long as it doesn't rain too hard, we are good for now........but, yeah, I am still kinda pissed off.

You are very much in the right for thinking the way you do. They should have had someone out to talk to you first up. Something this serious should not be taken lightlyh by insurance a-holes. Personally, I think yu're not showing anger. Myself I'm very "A" type when  it comes to dealings with ass hole insurance companies. I'd be demanding a car....as of now to be delivered to you're f-ing doorstep!!!! Pressed they will respond. My offer still stands. It's good on gas but needs a windshield at the moment
