Well the next door neighbor's normally docile collie-lab mix dog

killed our 13 year old cat on our front lawn last evening.   (the dog was on leash)

The cat was deaf and must have had its back to them

neighbor no doubt had her cellphone glued to her ear like always yakking away her suburban drama

and was not paying attention to her surroundings or thinking ahead of her dog...

poor Mr. Pooh lasted about 5 minutes.... he took a pretty savage attack

he either died of internal bleeding or shock and heart attack

the wife is devastated

I hope the neighbors don't blame their dog for this.............

all problems with dogs are almost always found at the owner's end of the relationship

yup...every time I have seen her out with the dog it is cellphone to ear

eyes glazed over, jaw flapping away and dog pretty much walks itself while she holds the leash

the neighbors aren't exactly the brightest bulbs on the string
