Thanks folks...it sucks,

he deserved a better exit

he was a good "doggish" type of cat

our Mastiff keeps looking around for him

to their credit (and my surprise) the neighbors came over last night with a plant for my wife

and asked if they could pay for his cremation

my wife to her credit told them to please make sure that their daughters understand it wasn't the dog's fault

and to not blame her, she was just being a dog

and life moves forward.......
This is an insult to the Pez community
