Edward broke the 30lb mark.
(Bear in mind that is a "extra large" dog bed for labs and the like)

His last vet checkup, we put him on the scale and he weighed 29.8lbs.
Our normal vet had never seen him before so when he comes walking into the exam room, he immediately goes, "We need to do something about Edwa..." He cuts himself off as he looks up at Edward and goes, "Huh...he isn't morbidly obese..."

Turns out, he *is* a bit overweight but he has no risk for feline diabetes which shocked our vet even more.
He is a huge love bug though...all he wants to do is snuggle. So what if that involves crushing your chest and windpipe as long as you know he LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES you.

He sounds a lot like my Spectre cat. Spectre is similar in size & weight and he got on my chest in the middle of the night once. I woke up because I was having trouble breathing...
