Thanks, all.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried like a little kid as she slipped away. Even the two vets in the room were pretty choked up.

Murder and destruction tend to tire one out.

Sorry to hear about your kitty :(

Re- the vets... Not a job I'd ever want.

There's a new member of the family as of last weekend.

This is Sera, who came from a local shelter. She's about 6, and already is a total sweetheart. Our other two cats weren't thrilled at first, but seem to be warming to her.

Looks like our Sybil  ;)

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

I seemed to recall that you had a similar looking one.  :)

Ours is a "special needs" cat. She's very sweet, but..... quite a few french fries short of a happy meal.

This one seems pretty sharp along with being extremely friendly after only three full days with new hoomans, just has some digestive issues requiring better food.

Well, it seems we have another as of last Sunday, somewhat unexpectedly.

Meet Velcro. She (I think it's a she) was abandoned by mom on the step, so here we go. She was probably about two weeks old as of the day she appeared and was a little weak but after a few days of kitten milk replacement via eyedropper she is coming around like a trooper and is bonding like mad. BTW, the name is due to being able to basically just stick her to your shirt and go about your business, and she goes along for the ride.

:)
