I'm looking at getting a rear stand... for my 696.

I'm specifically looking at the pitbull stand with the forward handle... Any one know if it would fit?  It's not among the ducati specific stands on their site.  But it does say it fits most sportbikes...
Red 696- You can call her Isabella.

Have T-REX stands for my S2R.
They are solid as a rock.
Buy the front and rear. If you decide later that you want the triple adapter for the front, they will sell it to you for about $50 bucks.
That's what they told ME anyway.
Of course another entire front stand is only $70 bucks, so you may as well just get another one.

What's the harm in having a couple front stands? What if you get another bike? ;D

I was thinking about getting the set of stands from Harbor Freight just to clean/lube the chain and check the oil level without performing acrobatics. For exceptionally light duty, do you think these would work?

Buy a set of Pit Bulls on Craigslist ... I got a spooled/standard rear combo stand in new shape for $100, and then the CycleCat stands for $20 each ... The fact that the HF ones are " bolt - together " concerns me.

i picked up the pitbull rear that you can use with a DSS or spools.

150 bucks from a local shop and worth it. no buyers remorse here. if you cant find one from craigslist just shell out for it

hell i spent that much on my craftsman floor jack (for the cage) and it lasted a whole 2 seasons. this pitbull should last me a long riding career

DarkMonster620

go buy both stands....front, under the triple type or one that can be used both ways.... fly 'n cycle has nice combos...remember front pin 27mm....

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.
