Whatup people-

So I just moved into Hoboken and I was wondering if any of the fellow ducatisti's that I always see riding around have found any good routes....any length, any distance. Preferably some quick ones to do after work and some long ones to do on the weekend. Thanks for the help.

On weekdays when I get the time I usually run up river road to the gwb and beyond. Palisades parkway is a good place to get some wind through your helmet but the popo are everywhere and it sucks... at least 55mph beats sitting around at traffic lights. Then I continue up to the cliffs...that area but there isnt that much to do.

On weekends bear mtn is decent for being somewhat close, went on a pocono area ride last weekend. I need to do some more exploring myself.

What part of boken are you in? Im around 14th and Hudson, go to stevens right now but I'm graduating soon.

+1 on the fames 218 from Evil.  I would also suggest extending 218 (if you are southbound) by crossing over at Bear Mt Bridge then taking 6/202 South for another couple of miles.

Other good ones:  106 thru Harriman State Park, Sparta Mt Road near Milton, Clinton Road near Uttertown, 23 thru High Point Park, Winston Lane thru Philipstown, 301 near Carmel, 21 near Dover, 97 near Port Jarvis...

Longer distance: Catskills.

202 is awesome but is very often clogged with traffic, especially on weekends. Such a great section of road. 202 & 218 put Hawks Nest to shame IMO, well, unless you include the super secret ninja back roads up there too. ;)

Oh, as a reminder, going south on 9W after the hill, be careful, there are often cops waiting there & the speed limit should be adhered to.

There are super secret ninja backroads either going to or leaving the Nest...

Like GC said, there are some awesome roads up there if you venture off the beaten path a little more. So I was being serious. :)
