New rider (yet to get a bike) from Wisconsin

Hi, I am from a small town in Wisconsin.  I have a wife, 3 kids, a dog, and 2 cats.  I hope to acquire my very first two wheeled mistress soon. I am hoping to settle on either a Ducati Monster or a Suzuki sv650.  I introduced myself to the local club COW (Cyclists of Wisconsin), so I figured I would also say hi to the rest of you avid Duc lovers.  Salute!
