Ok, so there seems to be a number of people in this forum who have been riding duc's for awhile now so I am sure there are others who know about or potentially even attended the event in Las Vegas in 2001.  I never heard anything more about if they will ever do it again, why they have not done it since, or if they have done it since i have just not heard about it.  If anyone has any info to share, I would appreciate it.

I heard Ducati was going to do it on the opposite years of World Ducati Week but they decided to focus more on the WDW in EUR..and..winning the GP.

If I recall, there was too much "red-tape" too to hold another DRA?

I was there, it kicked all kinda ass.

Why it hasn't been done every year is beyond me.

I was there, unfortunately could not get my bike there. I have asked my local boys and aksed at the Chicago bike show and pretty much got hte same answer. It cost DNA tooooo much money and the boys in Italy would prefer to spend their's on the gp program. I for one would love to see it happen. Even better to go back to Vegas. Ive been told that Ducati sales have gone up for couple of years. So in theory they should be able to spring for a little something. I guess that I have given up on the concept. All I can say now is that "I was there".

Just a huge Duc event with track events, Ducati pro riders..old and new, parties, etc.

It was pretty awesome I must say!! Might first real intro into the world of Ducati, and I just happened to luck into it. I didn't have a Duc at the time, had a Honda, but my friend had one and had the trip set up for him and his military friend.  this was right after 9-11 so needless to say his military friend got locked down so since the trip was already paid for I got the invite. just had to buy my plain tickey. Vegas, awesome bikes, watching guys fly around the track like real racers.  TONS OF BIKES!! That was right after the, I think it was the Evolucione (not sure if that is its name) came out and there were a few of them there, awesome looking bike. And if you brought your bike out there and had full leathers you could run you own bike out on the track in Vegas.

As the previous posters had said I was under the same impression that they were supposed to do it every other year.  It was for the people who could not afford to go to the festival in Italy but still wanted a huge as Duc party! And Party it was. Man, that was a good time!

It was also where I fell in love with the monsters, as two trick riders demolished two of them doing some amazing stunts, I can still smell the burnt up rubber of that blown out tire!! Awesome, purely awesome!
