Hey there,

I've got some spare amber Kellermann bar end signal lenses and want some red ones.

Anyone out there in the biz of making lenses (red) from a sample (or know of someone who does)?

Thanks,
NorDog

FYI, red turn-signal lenses on the front will get you attention from the man.

Ah, yeah, well, that's why they are for the rear.  The Kellermann units have lenses that face to both the front and the rear.  Red for the rear (and the run/brake light unit).

go to a hobby store, and get transparent candy apple red testers spray, few coats, and they are red.

Fair enough, just wanted to make sure you knew.  :)

Possibly a paint job as djomlas said.

I think it's possible to do a silicone rubber mold of an existing lens, and use a casting resin with a red dye of some sort.
I've not done it, so maybe it's $.02 worth at best.
