Freddie Spencer school closes

I think this is a major loss for the sportbike community.  I've been twice and was planning to go again next summer--obviously, I thought it was well worth the money.  I hope things work out for all of them.

that is a shame.

no wonder why i didn't get an answer to a question i emailed them about a week ago. wanted to take a class with them bc it fit in my schedule, now i know why it there was no response.

hope they make a comeback in a more responsible way.

1) there is a place where we talk about stuff like this.

2) if the guy isn't paying his staff, or his longtime sponsor for the equipment, it's not that big of a loss.

3) the people that actually made that school was it was (ienatsch, hill, etc) will end up elsewhere and may even offer private instruction.

4) if it makes sense, i'm sure freddie and his school will be back. he's got too marketable a name to let it go to waste, and i doubt this is enough to tarnish his repuation.

My understanding is that Hill already does.

Thanks for pointing out the derby.  I actually did search first, but missed that one.  I'm locking this thread.
