Better 'lock' using stock monster set up

While at the local REI I spotted On-Guards 'Akita' cable 15".  I'd been looking for a longer, but not too long cable to replace that not quite long enough and really dinky factory one.

The 15" model is only $4.  Its much more substantial than that stocker, but still fits under the seat fine.  It's also long enough that it's not a puzzle to get it around the helmet and in place.

Thought I'd share.

i bought a master lock retractable combination cable lock and just lock the helmet to the handlebar at the riser. That was a cheap solution and is easier than taking the seat off to get my helmet.
