Why is this all such a suprise? Everyone talks about the 1098 looking Japanese, the truth is that it was styled to harken back to the 9*6... just like the Japanese bikes were styled to look like the 9*6. The 1098 doesn't look Japanese, the Japanese look like old Ducatis.... except the Kawis, and they are fugly.They've been ripping off Ducati for years.... does no one else see the similarities between the Monster and the SV?

Seriously... that website made me ill. Who is the target audience? Is there some group of coffee drinking fashionistas that ride who naked motorcycles??  Crikeys... just typing that sentance made me feel less manly.
