I love the fall but I hate this upcoming time of year. You drive to work, it's dark. You leave to go home from work, it's dark. It's like you are living in the artic circle where it's dark for 5-6 months. It's depressing. :P

I'm not 100% on this but I'm guessing it's not quite as bad as living in the Arctic Circle.  I lived in Sweden for 7 years and that was bad in the winter, for 3-4 months it never really got light and as for depressing, the suicide rate jumps much higher in the winter.

I do not like the dark evenings either and would prefer to be on DST all year but it does not change how many hours of day light there are.  And at least Bush tried one environmental policy by moving the change back a week, Europe and probably the rest of the world changed last week.
